sled lift

Does anyone have any plans for building a sled lift? I would like something fairly simple that would be able to roll around the garage.

Thumbs up Re: sled lift

JUST BOUGHT A REAL COOL MOTORCYCLE/QUAD LIFT @ PRINCESS AUTO... $89.99 ON SALE, AND IT INCLUDES AN ADAPTOR FOR VEHICLES WITHOUT "FLAT" UNDERSIDES..... NAPA HAS A LITTLE BETTER, BUT SIMILAR ONE FOR REGULAR PRICE $350.00 ON SALE FOR $175.99(ADAPTOR NOT INCLUDED).
------ SMAYO: ALBERTA MOTOR PRODUCTS USED TO HAVE ONE OF THESE THAT YOU HAVE THE BLUEPRINTS FOR AND IT WORKED GREAT. COUPLE OF MODS CAN BE DONE TO THAT BLUEPRINT; I WOULD PUT WHEELS ON ONE END(FOR PORTABILITY) OR BOTH ENDS(COULD MOVE WHOLE JACK/SLED AROUND), AND THE LOWER PART OF THE FRAME, I WOULD EXTEND A LITTLE AND THEN PUT A CROSS BRACE ON THE END OF THE FRAME AND ANOTHER IN THE MIDDLE(FOR RIGIDITY).

Re: sled lift

Hey summitric, is the lift that you are talking about, the yellow 300lb multi purpose sissor lifting cart? Or is this one designed for atv's/motorcycles.

Re: sled lift

Built this lift a couple months ago and works great. This is the same as Badmonkey's plans. No more bending over, pulling suspension is a breeze, and the sled wheels around the garage with ease.

Re: sled lift

I have a MARLIFT, Its awsome. I built a copy of it out of alum. It is in the trailer for on the road fixes. They work great for both atv's and sleds.
