Running Boards

I have an 06 800 Rev and i want to modify the running boards to let the snow and ice build up less. But at the same time i don't want to lose strength or integrity. Is there something that has worked for anyone else out there ?

Thanks in advance

Re: Running Boards

I have purchased the F-Bomb Racing "Better Boards" for my 03 Summit. They are the boards for the 03 RMK as they do not make a specific model for that year of Summit but they assured me that they would fit. I have been told these boards are very good, also had great service from the guys at F-Bomb.

Re: Running Boards

i just put on the board traced the holes and cut them out drilled the holes and riveted them.i used a dremmel at first went through to many disks then went out and bought disk for air grinder. they should of made them shorter because you cant cut out the two back holes bracket underneth.

i tried to leave as much metal as i could but in the middle there it was so thin wasnt worth having

Re: Running Boards

I also have the snow eliminators on my sled. Can't complain about them, they get rid of the power snow very well. They tend to ice up a little bit in some spots, but that can be kicked out easily with the boots... Wonder if there's anything that can stop ice buildup??? Also... bought them from climbhigher in sherwood park. Small shop, just kinda starting out, but very good to deal with.
