local built sled lifts

Locally built sled lifts

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am looking at building some sled lifts out of my garage in my spare time and want to know if there is enough interest... i know boots was building the same style but seen in a post that he isnt building them for the winter. All lifts will be powdercoated to your choice of colour and have castors on them for easy movement.

also looking at building some ski and track dollies

If interested pm me and ill get an idea if its worth it to build a few and we will go from there.

Re: local built sled lifts

Sled lifts are a great invention. I just brought mine out from storage today. Buddy built it a few years ago.
I'd highly recommend them for anyone. Great for working on the sled.
BTW - I modd'd mine to have all wheels swivel - rather than 2 wheels straight and 2 wheels that swivel. Great for tucking the sled into a spot sideways.

Here is the link to a bigger version of the drawings.

Build your own Sled Lift

Boots did a great job on the ones he was building. Too bad he got busy with work.

Has anyone had trouble with the lift moving while working on the sled with 4 wheels on the lift?
