help

is a throttle cable for a set 40 MM carbs the same as 38 MM carbs??? I have a 521 formula plus engine in a 77 RV ski-doo and trying to find a progressive throttle lever (the two pivit point one), because it is for my 8 year old son and his thumb get tired. I found one for 38 mm carbs but will this work on my 40 mm carbs????? Help

Rather than messing with the throttle cable, try to spin the throttle lever on the handle bar so that the little one pulls it with his finger rather than pushing with his thumb. This worked for a friend of mine. It is easier on his hand this way.
