chain tension

just want confirmation of proper chain tension on my 96 xcr 600? any comments would be good before i put it back together on monday. thanks

NOT SURE If polaris is the same but on a skidoo you turn snug tight with your fingers then back off around a half a turn to get the cotter pin in. no reason why this wouldnt apply to a similar system

no cotter pin. has a lock nut but should be the same idea. thats what i thought just wanted to make sure. thanks guys.
