2003 summit x pipes fit a 97 mach z chassis?

I have built a Mach Z for my daughter. It is a has a 670 and it's the mach z 800 chassis. I have a line on some crankshop pipes, they are from a 2003 summit x. Will these work for this sled?

Very good. The pipes are from a 2003 670 summit. the sled I am building is a 1997 chassis, 670 engine. I know the chassis are different. Would the pipes work though?

They didn't make a 670 summit in 2003

As renegade stated, there was no Summit 670 in 2003. Someone's lying to you, and because they are stating the "X" version, they're probably aware that "X" parts fetch higher prices than regular 670 parts, so they're trying to get top dollar. They might be for a Summit 700, but its not the same motor. 1999 was the last year of the 670 Summit.

and that was only in the snow checked 99's was it not?
