| Polaris 425 Fuel Issues I've got a 98 Polaris Magnum 425, and we're having issues with it. Originally we diagnosed it as a faulty fuel pump. So we changed it out with a new one, and its still acting up. It ran for about a minute with the new pump, but the "hot" light came on, and it quit, when it did run with the new pump, it was really rough and wouldn't idle. I've learned that the fuel pump is driven by a pulse thats emitted from the carb, but I'm unable to detect a pulse coming from the pulse line. The line is intact all the way down, no leaks or holes, I'm thinking maybe my carn needs to be rebuilt? Anybody in the know? |

| By the way, the original symptom was no start, I pulled the delivery line off the carb and turned the motor over, and no fuel spat out. And now after installing a new pump, I have the same problem, no fuel. ![]() |
