Oil in Air filter -Outlander 500

I need some help/advice...

Was checking the Air Filter and noticed oil in the bottom of the air filter housing. The air filter was soaked with oil. Any idea why this would be? Both clamps holding the air filter arm were loose, would this cause the problem?
Last time the air filter was open was when I had it in the shop for the first servicing.

Re: Oil in Air filter -Outlander 500

have you rolled it recently or put it on its left hand side???? The crank vent is in the air box on the left hand side and if you roll it or tip it on the left hand side the air box will get oil in it.
