Can-am Rear Fuse Panel problems

On my 07 Renegade the rear fuse panel which houses 3 fuses, the two outside fuses seem to be the ones being used the middle fuse has a jumper, and the one fuse kept blowing on mine that controls the main power. I changed the fuse several times and then jumped it with a piece of wire to find out the amp draw, its under 30. When I moved the wires around the lights and main power would click off and on showing me that the wires going to the fuse were an issue. It looked fairly clean though. I cut the wires and taped really well to a fuse but thats only a get home fix. The part will have to be ordered so I will just get 2 single fuse boxes at Canadian Tire and install them, the middle fuse I dont think is doing anything, Mabie thats for a winch. The repair deductible is $50 so this is cheaper than that if I fix myself. There is a fuse panel up front in the nose and one just by the battery.

Anyone else had this issue?

Re: Can-am Rear Fuse Panel problems

have you tries applying a dielectric grease to the fuses just to keep out the water. Just an idea
