Bigger Injector?

Have any of you tried the bigger injector from the street bike? I have heard of up to 15 hp but you also need a fuel mapping box. Just wondering if it is a worthwhile mod as I would like a little more hp to try to keep up with all of the twins smoking my butt!!

I have had the M109R injector installed for about a year now, there will not be no 15 hp differance from stock, but there is deffinatly some improvement over stock

I am controling the fuel and timeing advance with the VDI,

Hard to compare a single cy;inder to a V-twin machine

the bigger injector with vdi's new program on there copperhead cdi is awesome. call lyle at vdi and get the download...it rocks... just got the new copper head for the 750 with powersteering and put the injector and download..its unreal...bring on the twins..were gonna run it against our thunder cat and see what happens......

What are the parts worth? Can I set up the mapping easily or is it done already? I would be surprised if this makes enough of a difference for the King to keep up to the twins, they smoke me!

Catman10, The VDi is $500.00 and comes loaded with the program that you need.
With the 2mm. shim mod and nothing bigger than 26' tires, the King quads will take on a V-twin!!
A while ago this spring, I was playing with my clutching. I had her geared down to 90 kph, and had tons of low end torque. No problem lifting front tires off in high gear. And that was with the 27" zillas.

The VDI Copperhead doesn't have the M109 injector map in it when you buy it, you've got to download the m109 map from VDI (unless things have changed?)
But it's an easy job to upgrade your maps once you figure it out, it only take about 2 minutes. And the guys at VDI are great to deal with if things don't go well.
