    | 2000 sportsman 500 speedo inop? The speedometer on my 2000 polaris sportsman 500 is inoperative? I suspect the right front speed sensor? Any ideas on quick tests, or common failures?

| Re: 2000 sportsman 500 speedo inop? i would say the sensor on the right wheel. pretty common thing to go out. the odd time a wire leading to the sensore can break or the sensor can come unplugged.
