Re: DIGATRON how do you change batteries?

Replacing the batteries is simple. With the front of the instrument facing you, remove the left end cap. Slide the battery pack out from inside the unit and replace the batteries. Slide the battery pack back into the instrument, making sure that the batteries are facing the back of the unit. Replace the end cap and you are done.

found this at Digatron owners manuals

Re: DIGATRON how do you change batteries?

i have an avenger 2 and mine dosnt have replaceable batteries. if yours is sealed tight and you open it up it will leave it prone to getting moisture inside. i dont think the batteries are your problem. all batteries are for is so you can review the recordings when the sled is shut off.

Re: DIGATRON how do you change batteries?

after a little research it looks like your batteries could actually be in the end caps. However i dont know what model you have. go here for trouble shooting http://www.exhaustgas.com/docserver/Docs/129.pdf
and here for your manual
