  | 1st General Meeting for the 09/10 Season Mon. Oct. 5 7p.m. at the clubhouse on Powerhouse Rd. Please attend, membership rates need to be set, looking for members to head committees and lots of planning to do. We will be only having 1 meeting a mo. this season and it will be held on the 1st Mon. of each mo. @ 7 p.m. Don`t know how many of you heard about the huge windfall that happened on the Veideman trail couple wks. back. Over 30 hectres of big spruce fell down during a windstorm. MOF is harvesting the trees now and the trail will be open this season. A guesstimate was that there were over 300 trees down and a 100 of them were on the trail. Billy and his crew have been doing trail maintenance this summer, pushing the Bezanson trail, putting in culverts and redecking a bridge. When the Veideman is open again there are plans to put in place marker poles for the groomer operators during heavy snowfalls and for MOF to put up permanent signs to inform riders to not ride the reforested cut blocks.

| Re: 1st General Meeting for the 09/10 Season No, only a few dead ones came down that were in the way or a problem. The logging company moved their equipment up last wk. and will be cleaning up the mess on the Veideman this wk. The trail maintenance crew had a back hoe up the top end of the Bezanson so now all the big stumps and rocks are out of the way too.
