starting problem

Discuss starting problem in the ATV & DIRT BIKE BRAND NAMES forums; i got a 06 brute 750 and its being a real big pain to start its almost like its getin ...

starting problem

i got a 06 brute 750 and its being a real big pain to start its almost like its getin to much fuel. and put the choke on and it doesnt seem to do any thing just crank and crank and finnly start but then it wont idle. so could it be the floats are suck or ????

i'd pull the carbs clean them thouroghly and go from there i've had issues like that myself and it went away with a carb cleaning

the problem was that the back cylender valves were sticking. got it back and now runs great.

I had same problem and had to reset valves starts good now

i have a 07 650 brute good spark, good fuel, turns over won't start any ideas??

ya my 06 kvf 700 has 7500km now and i have had to get the valves adjusted 4 times now... apparently running a k and n air filter is not the cats a$$...it allows a lot of dirt into the engine.. maybe a possible cause for this not to sure...but thats the only engine troubles ive had with it thus far.
