eps steering on grizzly

I bought a grizzly 700 eps the other day with 800 klms on it. Seems to be in pretty good shape but I don't thing the powersteering is working right. The manual says after engine is started the eps light should go out and it does until you try to steer the machine for a few seconds then the light comes on and stays on. While the light is off you can hear the steering motor working when you apply a little pressure on handlebar shortly after that the light comes on and steering motor stops working. Any ideas? Have taken all the wiring connections apart cleaned.

You are the first person i have heard that has had a problem with the eps .It couldn't be a fuse i guess?Let us know how you make out with this,good luck
