700 grizzly waterpump problems????

grizzly overheated this weekend and went to check what the problem was, found out it drained all the coolant out of the vent tube down at the water pump.refilled and when pressured up it still spews it out of the tube. i am assuming that there is a seal gone in the waterpump or something of that nature. anybody have any experience in taking a 700 waterpump apart and wether a guy needs special tools to work on it? also anybody else ever experience this problem?truly grateful for any info.

Re: 700 grizzly waterpump problems????

look at Welcome to RIVA Motorsports on the World Wide Web! and take a look at the waterpump on yer quad..this will probabally show all the bolts and wear parts..there is probabally a rubber seal right on the impellor and that is what wears out plus the little spring that keeps it tight is no longer able to..i dont know about the hose thing but when the pump died on a kodiak we had..that is what it was..good luck

Re: 700 grizzly waterpump problems????

What did you find out with the water pump? Or was there some other problem?
