Riding @ Big Horn Dam September Long

Has anyone heard if the trails @ Big Horn Dam will still be open this weekend?
I just heard rumor that they are shutting down all the trails due to morons going off trail!
I love going out there, and getting back in the bush, but if the rumor I heard is true, the rangers will be closing all the trails!

Anyone know more info?

Re: Riding @ Big Horn Dam September Long

Better not be closed, we are going. We also checked the websites and no mention of any closures. If it was going to be closed you would think that it would already be posted.

Re: Riding @ Big Horn Dam September Long

I'm headed there this afternoon all going well!
Look forward to seeing anyone else from here there too!
I'll either be on my red 08 Honda trx 420 with BearClaws, wife on the back, or on my 1985 Honda atc 250sx trike.
Probably be the only trike out there I suppose...

Re: Riding @ Big Horn Dam September Long

Just got a phone call from someone who just got there, and he did not say anything about closed trails.

Re: Riding @ Big Horn Dam September Long

Thanks for the helpful info everyone!
Made it out there Friday night before it started getting crazy full.
Most full I have ever seen it there! Most dust I have ever rode in too!!!
Saw a few familiar faces on the trails. I was on the 85 Honda 250sx with my wife riding on the back most of the time. Seems the friends and one of the brothers didn't bother to bring anything to ride, and so to avoid any sniviling back at camp I let them take out the 08 TRX 420fm with the new tires.
Ran great for me when I got to ride it the 2 times it was free!

My anyways.
