polaris trail boss wont start

I started up the quads to load them for a weekend ride and my trail boss 2001 stalled, it fired up then stalled again now it wont fire. I have checked the checked for fuel, fuel filter, changed-and checked the spark plug and checked the coil. All seems fine there. What else could it be?

Same thing happened to a buddies 250 Polaris a couple of years ago. It ended up being the electrical deal in the thumb throttle. I think it is some safety control in case the throttle freezes up or sticks on. I want to say it was only around $50, but not totally sure.

Check the compression. Those air cooled motors are famous for that.
