little how to gps install

finally came a long and install my gps on my bike

started with finding a good spot to mount it and i really think that without drilling or building brackets the trippleclamp is pretty much the only point to mount it

so what did i do

1.sticky taped the adapter on the tripple clamp
2.installed mounting bracket on adapter
3.installed display and set everything up so i got full turns and nothing will hit anywhere
4.unbolt tank and lift front up to route the wires
5.removed right side ram air cover
6.removed seat
7.installed power plug in on a mounting bolt for the windshield (to see right upper corner above the temp gauge)
8.routed wires from lighter over the ram airs thruw the frame (where your throttle cable go thruw) under the tank (zip tied to coil wiring) in the underseat compartment
9.installed quick connections on both ends of wiring and connected them to the 12v acessorie plug ins
10.reinstalled all components
11.tested function
12.enjoy gps on the bike

Re: little how to gps install

Looks good Dennis I would also maybe run a secondary strap that you can put it around the handlebars in case it was to pop off then it will dangle by the strap and you won't lose it
