 | Avy Warning this weekend for much of BC Hi folks, Just giving you a heads up that the Canadian Avalanche Centre has issued a Special Public Avalanche Warning (SPAW) on account of the touchy avy conditions for this weekend. The SPAW is in effect for the following regions: North Rockies North Columbias South Columbias South Rockies Kootenay Boundary South Coast The SPAW is not saying "don't go out". What it is saying is that you should pay careful attention conditions and make sure you choose terrain that is suitable for the current conditions. Remember, go big AND go home Avy Forecaster. |

everyone that has passed on due to avalanche this year thought they were smarter or more careful or luckier than the last guy that was lost......They weren't, maybe you aren't either......

I'm done with this season in the mountains but would like to help save a life this spring if I could. I'll replace it next fall. PM me if anyones interested.
