Hi there, looking for a price and availability on a 2 wheel kit. 9' aluminum, rubber edged wheels, offset axle for a 04 summit highmark x. Wanting to go from a 159" to a 162" but keeping same rail length. Any suggestions or help would be great thanks.

We don't have any 9" in stock but on Monday I will make a call for pricing from our suppplier and see what I can do for you. If you are changing from stock wheels and going to the longer track however you won't really gain any footprint as the extra track length will be up by the bigger wheel. The only gain would be a little less rolling resistance.

Re: Big wheel kit

True, a buddy did a rail extension, had the bolts tight and the rails broke.Cost a lot of money to repair. I like the 159" for all around riding. If I could get away with a 159" track with a big wheel kit with 9" wheels, I would go that route. Is that possible?

It depends on how much room you have at the end of your rail. To put the big wheels on your rear axle has to come forward this might lead to the end of your rail catching on the track.

Re: Big wheel kit

The other thing that you could do is go with a 162 track and then put the 9" wheel kit on and then the extra 1.5" of track would compensate for the bigger wheels and you wouldn't have to worry about it hitting the rail ends and you wouldn't really end up with any longer track on the ground. just my thoughts.
