![]() | Can anyone out there tell me where their gas tank vent line runs to? I had to replace mine as it rotted and broke the dealership told me to run down the frame to the back of the bike and onto the ground, I did that and the first mud hole I got buried in the mud and water came right up the tube and just bout into the gas tank. The dealership said not to run the vent line into the pod, but the brother in laws 2006 runs right into the pod and when he fills the bike it pours out over everything, this was right from the dealer, he's made no changes to it. So right now I have it all apart and I have no idea where or how to run the vent line. Do I need a check valve?? |

![]() ![]() | Re: Polaris ATV Gas vent line???? No loop. The idea is that the tube will be self draining either out the bottom of the steering column or back into the tank. If you put a loop in it and the tube gets condensation in it during the winter, it will freeze which will result in hair loss. ![]()
