fuel issues

Well fixed the overheating problem on my sons 400 Ho but we went to smith for the week riding can,t get it over 40 kmh and when you try to go faster it boggs and hesitates when you punch it off the line it wants to go but blows black smoke.

thanks for the info washed it today and took it for rip up the street no power let go of the gas and now it quits oh the other thing is sit there with quarter throttle and the speedo says he,s doing 25kmh now i,m lost.
