2004 polaris 600

I have looked at other threads and did not see anything.
How difficult is it to change the water pump seal on a sportsman 600?
It is dripping from the weep hole.
Do I need any remover or installer or a screw and vice grips work?

Thanks

these have a ceramic inner ring so they need to be carefully "PRESSED" is to avoid damage.

Re: 2004 polaris 600

I got the seal out ok but put my screw in a bit far and pulled the oil seal with it.
Have to get a oil seal now.
Am still not sure how to push the water pump seal in.
Any ideas???

Re: 2004 polaris 600

get a deep socket with the same diameter as the seal. then just tap it in with a hammer.
