![]() | Re: Any Poker Rallies? Hi, I have gone to this rally for years, usually the hills get polished up and it turns into a gong show...the best machine to take IS a quad...with studded tires or chains..it's pretty hard on a sled...and be prepared for lots of delays..otherwise it's lots of fun |

Without a good base it can get a little icy, sleds can usually get threw ok, as long as quads go a little later, as the trails are narrow. Hopefully they have all the creek xings marked, as they can be dangerous? This is put on by the elks club so who knows, been out a few times before and signage was a little lacking. It's a charrity event, but participant safety should be # 1, as many are not familiar with the trails/terrain. |

![]() | Re: Any Poker Rallies? I just e-mailed James Brady from the Croline snowmobile club to try and get some details...but you're right, this event is put on by someone OTHER than the Caroline snowmobile Club...and therefore they allow quads, side-by-sides,dirt bikes, pretty much anything with a motor on it...the hills and gorges DO get poished up and sen a few wrecks as a result...when you get 200-300 riders hit a trail it gets pretty beat-up! I'll keep you posted... |
