![]() | Re: Snow in Kimberley How close to the town of Fernie can you ride? Some family are planning a ski trip around Christmas, and I was going to bring a couple of sleds down. I have never been down that way, and just curious if it's worth bringing the sleds down? Thanks! |

![]() | Re: Snow in Kimberley I'm loaded and ready to go for next weekend theres lots of riding areas down in that area, definitely worth bringing your sleds. I haven't road around Fernie in 7 or 8 years but there is lots not too far from town. ![]() ![]()

![]() | Re: Snow in Kimberley We were up at the grey cr pass today. 1~1.3m . A very nice consolidated snowpack. A couple of melt/freeze layers but seemed to be bonding well. Looking pretty dam good for this time of year. 20cm new made riding one solid face shot. |

![]() | Re: Snow in Kimberley We went skiing up the St Marys valley yesterday as well. It was a pow day. Still a bit thin to be running sleds in the fields, too many stumps for this guy. Shaping up real nice. |
