Need help finding less steep trails...

Looking for some easy to moderate trails to ride. I have a TW200 and my son is learning on a TTR125. My bike is too heavy (and I'm too old to enjoy crashing anymore) to wrestle up and down steep hills.

We have been to McLean Creek on the west end and reached some impassible hills (for me) from the road south along Silvester Creek - based on that I am assuming that the motorcycle trails to the west would be steeper. What about trails in the cnetral part or east end?

Have been down the Meadow Creek road in the Waiparous (which is great when the ruts are relatively dry), but the cutline to the west into Lesueur Creek (between marker 43 and 45) was too much for me.

Any trails to suggest?

ever been too the Hummingbird near ram falls,,,,,,,,, nothing too difficult. All designated trails.

It's only my list, but I need more than a day to bag that one (including driving time there).

LOL. I must say that thought crossed my mind. I'm not sure the timing is right to "acquire" another toy.... Maybe it I sell off some other toys....hummmmm......then I would need a bigger trailer.....but my wife would come with us....

How about Crows Nest Pass???? I know there are tame trails there,,,,, but thats all I know about it,,, or waiperous???

I do like the Waiparous, I just don't know the trails well enough to know which are tame. Generally the cutlines are tough, but I was hoping someone who has riden the Waiparous might suggest some marker points to try.

Get yourself a SXS and start to enjoy your time out doors with your wife., Also take a trip North of Edmonton and do the Iron Horse Trail. befor you get rid of your 2 Wheeler. (old rail line app 300 kms in total).

You guys are pretty good at spending my money for me! I looked at the website for the Iron Horse Trail and motorcycles are not allowed - off road or road legal. Quads are the only legal ATV.

try burnt timber area. it's a little NE of the waiprous area. the trails tend to be less up and down in burnt timber than waiprous, that's for sure

Thank for your reply, about the motor bikes, So much for its being part of the TRANS CANADA (selective) Multi Use Trail. A good thing that we learn something new once in a while or life would be boring.
