what sled suits me?

hey guys! not sure if this news is good or bad , but i might be moving to british columbia this spring and am wondering what mountain sled to buy , i dont think i will ride polaris , arctic cat or ski-doo and that only leaves yamaha! so what yamaha should i buy? 2stroke or 4stroke? i want something that a 5ft 144 lb dude can ride easily , what size paddle? how long a track? and i've heard about turbo'd 4strokes , do i need one?

Yamaha only makes 2 models, an Apex and Nytro. Both are really heavy, the Nytro is a bit lighter so might wanna go with this one.
Yamaha doesn't make 2 strokes anymore.

You sound like the same kid from a few weeks ago. We all know how that went...

Re: what sled suits me?

If you're only 5ft and a buck 44, why do you want the heaviest sled out there? You'd be deadly on a Polaris or Summit 600 or an M7. Most guys would chop a leg off to get weight reduced to that point.

Re: what sled suits me?

There all reliable unless you start modding them .....trust the guys here they are speaking from expereance. Travisfader on here rides a 04 viper with a 159x2 finger and i guarantee he will tell you to go to a lighter m series (prob 6 or 7) or maybe an older summit 600. He loves his yami's but hes also a BIG boy and can throw just about anything around (i think hes 5,11 and 310 or somethin around there). If he was 5,5 and 140 pounds he would be riding somethin lighter..... hop on a m-series in the mountains if you get the chance i promise you that for a smaller guy its a WAY funner ride and at the end of the day thats what its all about anyways JUST FUN no matter what brand or CC.

P.S Spend the money and go with EFI system no matter what you end up buying

Re: what sled suits me?

Why not a doo, a SDI 600 summit would be great for you easy on fuel and reliable.
