 |  track extentions Did alot of sledding when was younger, so after 20 yrs getting back into it slowly. I got a 99 formula dlx 670(for now, will be g-f later) and want to extend the track. Now it has a 121" track with little traction. Clean sled and was cheap. Runs good but suspect some bearing issues or something. Track seems to shift a bit and can smell burnt strap. When put in reverse hear grinding/stripping sound. But only sometimes. I would like to make a good all round sled, that would be good in the hills, ditches out round the city and some trail riding. So where do I start, is there anything tricky to get apart or stuff I gotta know? What is the longest I long can go without getting into moding the clutch and gears. If I do mod, any suggestions. Any others sled models pieces will fit on that sled? Any tricks will help. Thanks |
