Well went out this weekend to Whipsaw.Nice day foot of fresh.Then the S***t hit the fan motor started making a noise!! We started our way out and bang!!. We pulled it out got it home. here's the bad news. it's a 950 BB with H-beam rods and one of the rods broke in two!!!

Has anyone herd of this ? I ran our race car with the same H-rods sprayed 450HP of NOS with no prob.The odd piston meltdown but never had a rod fail.I think this is the most $$$$ I have spent to go 685km in my life

I had'nt even hit the Boss Noss that day. Even if i did it's only 60hp and a piston would fail before a rod.
Sent the stuff off to see if they will cover it but what has ben a short season just got shorter.Guess I will be looking for a cheep 00/01 700 ski-doo motor to get out there have all the old stuff other then the mill.
