Wow

That had to suck. I was doing water runs a couple of weekends ago. We were running about 500 feet in a ditch with about 2 feet of water in it. My very first run I hit a culvert with my left carbide. Thankfully all the damage was too the culvert, I dented down the top of it for about 3".
My wrist was sore for the rest of the day, but nothing compared to what could have been if the ski was riding just a little lower in the water.

Yeah, I found out first hand a couple of years ago that there's not much that'll stop a sled faster than one ski in a culvert.

Culverts

Yea, saw a fellow on a brand new vertical escape a few years ago nail a culvert with one ski at high speeds while we were banging ditches on a nite ride and he end'od the sled .... Put a kink in the tunnel etc. Not a pretty site, and he just finished putting his kid on someone elses sled minutes before that happened. Coulda been really bad. Uaplumber, you got away lucky.................
