simmons "gen 2" on a ski-doo xp?

Has anyone given these skis a real try on an XP or are they best left for the apex and nytro's. I seen a 900 cat last year in the deep and the guy told me they were okay,but I wonder on those days when the snow is set up and there is only a few inches of fresh. Sidehilling might tough and a bit tricky.

Don't think you need gen 2 rough country. I ride 09 xp with gen 1 and work great, put them on right out of the creight. Been using simmons for a long time and don't feel the need to change.
