  |  School of Hard Stucks! OK, so I bought Frenchie's 600 Summit and have just been puttering around my front pasture with my two boys for the last couple of months. I think my wife noticed I was getting a little stir crazy from just doing laps so she took the boys to town today and let me play on our hillside. Well it turned out to be about 50% playing and 50% digging.  Dang, my respect for you fellows (and ladies) just quadrupled. I had thought I might take an avy course in the next couple of weeks seeing as this years snow pack should be great to learn from, but I guess I'm going to have to first figure out how to really ride this beast. Does anyone ever put on a nooby ride or lessons? Alternatively, maybe this could be a thread for everyone to throw in their sage riding advise. I'll start:1. Before venturing into the untracked powder purchase a shovel. Shovelling with your hands and stomping with your boots sucks. 2. Remember to keep your weight on the uphill side of the sled. 3. You know who hates a coward, don't stop squeezing with that right thumb. 4. You guys fill in the rest!!!
