Rock guard for a aluma trailer

Hello, i was just wondering if anyone had an easy way or some sort of trick to fabricate a rock guard on a 10' aluma tilt trailer. I just bought a new sled this year so i am trying to find a cost efficient way to make this trailer work for the year, so as i don't have to spend to much more money. I'd like to keep the trailer looking decient. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

Re: Rock guard for a aluma trailer

i have an aluma trailer also (10ft v-nose) and i bought the rock guard/ride off ramps right from them for $600 it only take 30min to install. I know it's not cheap but they are awesome.

Being a tilt trailer I assume it has a square front bigdoo has a nice fiberglass front for sale but it's 8'4" wide.

Re: Rock guard for a aluma trailer

thoughts by a plumber

you could make the frame work from 3/4" copper pipe fairly strong yet light weight solder in stead of welding cheeper

cover the front with puck board (umhw sheets ) tough stuff and the snow build up will slid right off slipppery stuff puck board is

dont forget to laquer the copper or it will turn green might be ok if you ride a cat

pm me the measurements for your trailer and i will figure out he material for your frame stuff you could get at the home teapot might evan find puck board there
