Re: Polaris switchback

what are you gonna use it for?? It would be a good ditch banging and it wouldn't be to bad in the mountains just make sure you don't drop into a bowl that you wouldn't get out of. get a leased a 2" track if your going to the rock.

Re: Polaris switchback

you better off to set yourself up now for mountains cause a mountain sled can be ridden on the trail where a trail sled like the one you arte talking about won't go far at all, you will spend all day digging yourself out, just my thoughts.

Re: Polaris switchback

yup just go to the mountain sled, once ya hit the mountains the trails kinda suck...
but if you are doing 80%trail/flatland riding that switchback would be a great sled...

Re: Polaris switchback

I've got a 2004 700 Switchback with a 144" track. Changed the track lug to a 2" lug and regeared, I can enjoy both worlds. I enjoy the machine, good luck sled shopping.

Re: Polaris switchback

It's a great sled. One of the guys I ride with at Goose Tower, and have raced against, runs one and it does really well.
