Help me with my gear/accessory list-Stuff to buy at the snowmobile show.

Since i havent had a sled since 99, i dont have any gear left. I plan on riding in the mountains as much as i can this year and would like to get all the safety gear. 3500 dollar custom knee braces saved my knee during a motocross crash years ago, so i figure its worth it.

Here is what I think for gear/accessories. I want to buy quality stuff that will last.

Helmet(MX style)
Goggles
Balaclava
Parka
Vest
Base layer shirt
Bibs/pants
Boots
Gloves
Avalanche Bag (recommended size? 30 liter or should i go bigger?)
Probe(recommended length?)
Shovel
Beacon

Please post up other things you can think of so i can get a good list together for the show

Also, if you have actual brand names that you recommend, feel free to post them.

Balaclava: Klim
Parka: Klim
Vest: Klim tekvest
Base layer shirt: Klim
Bibs/pants: Klim
Boots: Klim adrelene boots
Gloves: I buy other gloves, Klim dont seem to keep the hands warm
Probe - Shovel : When you buy the peeps you get a deal for a shovel and probe
Beacon : Peeps digital good deal at the show
Socks: The Klim ones are great
T-Shirt: Snow and Mud.com booth

Hoody: Snow and Mud.com booth

See ya there...The klim booth is right beside mine.

Are the deals on Klim clothing pretty decent at the show? Do they have lots of selection to try on different sizes?

If you don't have a GPS already, you'll want to pick one of them up.

ive got a garmin 76s. Sure would like the 76csx with the sd cards. Its kind of a pain not being able to put every area in the gps. Im looking at getting one of those ram mounts for it from gpscentral.ca

Maybe not at the show, but you'll want to get a decent backpack (S.O.S. perhaps; something with a waist and chest strap) as well as a good first aid kit.

The only difference between the 76Cx and the 76CSx is that the CSx has an electronic compass (Electronic compass displays accurate heading while standing still) and barometric altimiter (Barometric altimeter with automatic pressure trend recording) for an extra $30 (from GPS central).

The ram mounts are definately nice.
