Help on Enclosed Trailer?

Does someone out there know if a 24ft trailer will work for 4 mountain sleds, just found a swingin deal on one and would like to know if I'm going to have much grief packing sleds into it.Hoping it will work, most people I know have 27ft sleds and they seem to have a ton of room!

Hey Catmando,

My bosses 14 footer holds 2 2 up arctic cats easily, so I don't see why a 24 footer wouldn't hold 4, you might just have to pack them tight (bumper to bumper)

gunna be tight but might work. My 144” sled is 10' tip to tip, the tongue area on the trailer is probably around 4’. That leaves you with exactly 20’. Now although the sled is 10’, you could probably save 10” or so by tucking them close together. I would say if it’s a really good deal go for it. Check for rust and stuff in the usual places (www.wholesaletrailers.com web site has some good pics of where rust hides).

I can fit 4 153" tracks on my 20' trailer but they just fit. IF it's 24' not including
the V front should work.

Last year we went to Valemount with a 26' (22' straight and a 4' nose).
we had 2 X144's a 136 and 2 X159's stuffed in it. You have to put a couple in backwards but it works.

I vote no way, I have a 23' foot enclosed that will only hold 2 162's. You need to have some room to move around without standing on the seats. What about luggage, beer cooler, clothes etc?

Width helps alot in this calculation .In J-MANS trailer we get 3 sleds 151,151,159 in a 15 foot straight X 6.75 foot width and 5 foot v-nose 21 feet hitch to tail lights aprox. first sled goes up in the v ,forwards. Next is backwadrs beside first sled . next sled is backwards up on custom ramp over top of first sled. Sounds nutz I know but it pulls like a dart and can turn around full circle in any gas station parking lot. Had 4 place 28-30 footer used once spun out going up hill went backwards over cliff into revine wrote off. No likey 4-place any more plus in the summer 2 dirt bikes in a 30 foot 4-place is a bit much. With 3 sleds in the new trailer its tight, but it works ,with 2 its perfect lots of room. If we had the 8.5 foot width we could get 4 sleds in no problem but their would not much room left. Allan Dale should be done the new trailer next week I will post pics as soon as I can.

Thanks to all you guys for that information,Most of our trips we have a couple 144's with us so hopefully it will work with 2 long ones and two shorter ones.If not I will have lots of room to move around I guess. Will find out Sunday.

Just thought I would let you know it works!I put my 162 in front of my wifes 144 and its snug but I did not have to turn one around which made my day.So as long as I have two long sleds and two 144 or less I'm in great shape,It might work with two 151's end to end as well!
