Anyone with any GPS experience, looking to mount and wire one in on my XP so I stop getting lost!
What is the best hand held, water/ cold proof GPS model out right now?

60csx garmin, use lithium batteries, never any problems with cold. been running the this and the previous models ever since they came out. If you want mounting pics send me a reply and I will forward you some.

Etrex Legend HCx. I find it much more usable than the 60xxx or 70xxx series units. Nice and small, color screen, high sensitivity receiver, microSD card for maps, autorouting, decent price.
