Here's a vid made by the same guy,,it's got some good climbs in it..Gets real good around 3:00 mark

Yes, because people need to know it's closed and quit going into those areas so we don't lose more! I'm tired of fighting to keep areas open!

Sheldon and Tyler did do a great job of putting that video together though. Good job guys!

I like that they play the background music but you still hear the sleds, love hearing the sleds working.

Ya for sure,,I'm tired of losing legal access to areas as well

Hypothetical off topic question for anyone to answer: If sledding,quading,dirt bikes ect were banned completly, and illegal to opperate any where, would you be appossed to people Riding Illegally?? Would you still ride??

Just a couple of dumb questions....

I would still ride, because there is no place else to ride. But at this time there is alot of place to ride, so it is not worth going out of bound....Thats me though..

When/If it gets to that point I'll be one of the first ones out there riding illegally. At that point, civil disobedience will be the only tool we have left. We're not there yet, and I don't believe we will be if we can all have enough personal discipline to respect the closures that were negotiated by our volunteers and just be happy to enjoy the areas we fought hard to maintain. In our area we managed to keep the best ones, but non-compliance on the ones we agreed to close will hurt us bigtime.

Now.....closures that were imposed on us on the west side of the Purcells without our input or agreement.....well, those of you that know me already know what I think of those. Nuff said?

Regarding this video, I don't fault them for being where they were. We still haven't managed to get all the signs up so people know where the closed areas are, but we're getting closer. For anyone interested in where the closures are around Cranbrook/Kimberley there is a link to the current maps on our website: www.cranbrooksnowmobileclub.ca There are also large signs now installed with maps on the way into all the areas with closures and probably 90% of the smaller signs are up too, some of them twice unfortunately. Also feel free to PM me with any questions about the closures or the process that led to them.
