my sled was left in the sun for just over 3 weeks strait of sunlight and the black material on the lower section of my Boss seat has faded a brownish colour, Does anyone know if there is a fix? can it be died black again? or maybe replace the material but it has the shovel pouch, rrr it bugs me looking at it.

thanks

Re: Boss Seat, help?

my buddies dad is a kick ass upolstery dude... he actually builds and upolsters seats lighter than the boss seat... well he does for cats at least... i know he's done a few for the doos as well... anyways back to the point of the post... he swings some pretty slick work... if you want his number pm me and i'll pass it on.

he works out of fort saskatchewan.

I have a custom seat made out of my stock seat from him... light as hell and u can customize any color any design u want... even snake skin or ostrich leather... lol

Re: Boss Seat, help?

Hate to say it Sean, but you should be all over Boss for that. That's paying top dollar for a seat and them using cheap materials.

I WOULD NOT be pleased. It's an outdoor sport. It should be designed to last in the elements. That's about as bad as the stuff they do on boats...

It's the rays that bleach it, as far as i'm concerned it's not the quality of material thats the issue.. It's just like simmons ski's come with a sticker on them stating that the UV rays will damage them as well.. Just my thoughts..
