2007 m1000 control box

i got asked by a friend to look for the numbers for a boondocker control box.
we are in the loydminster area..
the sled has a D&D y-pipe, pipe and can with the exhaust valves or something capped...
he says it runs like crap...any help?

Hmmm.......pretty hard to come up with any ideas wit that type of decription? Can you tell us anything more about why it runs like crap. Does it run like crap at idle, mid range or full throttle? Maybe just take the sled to Don's in Wainwright.

I would start,(with the limited Info) by cleaning the Power Valves.costs nothing and could be his issue!Low to Midrange bogg!

Catman do you have the same type of control module? Is it possible a setting got messed up or switched by mistake? Loose wires.....maybe?


If I have to sit here at work any longer than friday I'm gonna have loose wires.....lmao...

he had the power valves capped and then put them back in and i cleaned it up alot...it was boggy in the bottom end

I think that could be a problem too,If his powervalves are dirty and sticking,he could have thought it was the control box.But then it may not be the valves and could be the box but if there were no previous changes and it just started running like crap.Boy i'm getting cofused.Start with the valves.

the first thing to try is to rest the computerr try holding the reverse button down for five seconds the gauges will flash the rest is done this should be donne when ecu updates are done over heating (no scratcherss) run out of gas any thing happens that the computer thinks were about to blow. just another news flash for cat guys or gals nothing sexier gals on cats control rods on oil pump linkage pops off theres a clip you can get from dealers to help warranty on 1000 not on 800 its about 8 or 9 $save yourself having to doo the ski doo drag behind your buddybuy it mad mike

You say the power valves were blocked off, did they have the proper chip plugged in place of the servo motor when they did this. Also blocking the valves will change some numbers and if you go to D&D's web site they have all the fuel numbers for their performance parts posted for all different cat sleds
