02 RMK 800 Idle

Just wondering if someone might know why the sled will not stay at idle, its not a high or low idle. If you let it sit it will run for about 45 seconds on its own it will just die, even when the engine has been run for awhile it will die out. Bought the sled used and I know the owner took very good care of it.
Im thinking the carbs need to be cleaned because on WOT she has a little surge then you back off the throttle a TINY bit it fine then you can go back to WOT

It might not matter but I run Shell Vpower Premium and Polaris VES Gold oil.

check your carb boots for cracks my rmk 600 was dooing the same found cracked boot changed out runs fine
