Supermach 700 UTV

Has anyone been out to Rob's at The Mod Shop east of town, or driven one of these. After talking with Rob I guess they are quite the machine, he says the internals of the engine can be swapped back and forth with the Yamaha 660. And the engine seems like it is very reliable and can produce some pretty good power.

Its almost as if Yamaha might have a little piece of some of the China knockoff market.

Thoughts,

Re: Supermach 700 UTV

rob is a very knowledgable guy and has an amazing reputation around this area you can not go wrong letting him play with your unit to get power you definatly will not be disappointed . If he is selling these things rest assured he would not ruin his reputation with garbage units and he would have tested thoughrally himself before selling

Re: Supermach 700 UTV

the knock offs are very good "copies" of the yamaha rhino, there are several that have different names that are almost the same other than the features.

you get what u pay for, we sell motobishi, (as well as yamaha and arctic cat side by sides) "alot of parts are similiar enough to work, as yamaha isnt using there 660 engine and the motobishi is a 686 cc (which is 1st over on a 660 cylinder) it is likely they have sold/rented/loaned the engine design but the parts are not the same quality... is this a bad thing? it depends on your usage. Would i sell a motobishi or other brand to the oilfield or aggressive off road user. no. but for the acreage / lake owners they are fine. the parts are cheap enough , ie $ 5.00 for a piston on a 500 cc! and they have there little issues but they are several thousands cheaper....

my two cents
