Ghost Airstrip CQS May long weekend

The CQS will once again be camping at the Ghost Airstrip in the Ghost Waiparous area for the May Long Weekend. We have the whole 20 acres available for members camping and activities. We will have daily trail rides in the Ghost Waiparous area on the designated trail system.
Possible activities could include an informal poker rally, an informal geocache, a smokie BBQ, and nightly campfires. There is plenty of open area to safely teach the younger ones how to ride responsibly. Firewood is supplied with the campground rental and is to only be used within designated campfire rings. As well, the out-houses, camp kitchen and refuse bins are available for our use. Generator usage will be allowed.
The campground gates will be locked by us after dark.

There is only one legal ATV trail access in and out of campground at waypoint 117 on the east side. We need to make sure we stay on this trail. We will supply you with a map of this trail upon sign-in at the function.

All ATV forestry requirements apply such as insurance, plates and registration. As well, the CQS common sense club ride rules apply, these are detailed on ATVFrontier CQS forum.

The Ghost Airstrip Group campground access gates will be open by 4PM Friday, maybe earlier if possible.

A CQS or CNP Quad Squad membership is strongly suggested and appreciated for this event and will be available on-site.

Now for the sad part seeing as there is a considerable fee for the campground rental that the CQS has to pay we require a fee of $10.00 dollars per night per camping unit. Which would work out to $30.00 per unit for the weekend.
