Brazeau ATV Club Poker Rally

When: Saturday September 20,2008

Registration: Sign in is from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon.

Location: At the violet grove trails,staging area is west on highway 620 (Lodgepole Highway) to range road 83. South on range road 83 and follow the signs.

Info: All hands must be in by 4pm
Price: $20 registration ($10 members) 1st hand, $5 for each extra hand.
Plenty of Random Camping available.

All individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Helmets, insurance, and registration are manditory. ZERO tolerance for drug and alcohol use.

we have done this one before..its a good one with easy routes around the hard muddy ones(usually there are signs giving you a choice of which way) as far as random camping there is miles and miles of lease roads and big grassy areas all over the place..go down the big hill about two km turn right at the big sign and there is a big area there.close to the river.the rally seems to be very well organized as they have been doing this for quite a while.and it has been a while since we had a rally this close to edmonton.see ya there

why are helmets mandatory
shouldn't that be a driver preference?

Because being an ATV club they are trying to promote safety. It is much safer and more responsible to wear a helmet as it can easily save a life.

We do promote ATV Safety. We are a responsible club. One of our directors is an ATV safety trainer and he also does a school program in elementary schools. This is also for insurance reasons, if someone signs the waiver (which you must sign to enter the rally) and doesn't wear a helmet they have renegged on a signed agreement with the club and their entry will be pulled.

And really quick to change the mood for a couple hundred people at a rally when word comes down the pipe that there was an accident with a head injury. Would spoil the whole rally for a lot of people and probably no rally next year. So if you don't care about yourself, please think of the others you will effect by your action.
