Alberta Beach Rally

The Lac Ste. Anne ATV Club is hoasting an ATV Poker rally. December 28 at Alberta Beach. Registration at the Alberta Beach Agliplex from 10: to 11:00.
$ 10.00 per hand 3 hands for $20.00. Hot dogs and coco at check point 3.
HELMETS,INSURANCE,REGISTRATION,VALID DRIVERS LICENSE OR LEARNERS PERMIT REQUIRED. Any riders under 14 have to have immediate and drierc supervision of a parent or gardian. I can be reached at admin@lacstanneatvclub.com.

Mostly quads sleds could go as well we had one sleder a couple of years ago

so how was the turn out this year ? i never actully hear how many people came. I know the renta cops wear busy handin out tickets with the rcmp guys..... Then after are group registered, we seen 2 cop trucks chasen after some guys.. when i drove by looked like they wear going to impound the quads, nice brutes too, and i think and old wore out outty.... anyone see what they did ?

Well even thought the day was cold we had around 150 machines out. Thanks to all who participated. Sorry for so much road riding. We hope to fix that by gaining acess to a road allowence a farmer has claimed for pasture.
As far as registration and check points go wait time were brief.

brrrr friggin cold dooin the roads.but did not have to go 80kmh either.but was awsome in the trails...very senic with the snow on the trees..ya a little cold crossing the lake..tha cops were a pain in the azz..could not find my pink slip.but they were nice enough to let me ride anyway.i hope they at least recovered a hot quad so something good comes out of the inconveniance they put people thru....dont think i will be back..dont need the b.s. of the cops..i have a plate on it..and it is insured..so is my truck and they never asked anything about that.

Had a great time at the Rally. I thought the peace officers at the start were trying to hard to justify their jobs. It's pretty damn obvious that if a guy has a valid plate and can dig out his paper work he probably is legitimate to ride. Making a guy take the frozen muddy paperwork out of the folder is just BS. I was good to go but I know many other people who were turned around.
