![]() | Re: ttr How old are you Joey??? Are you sure a little 125 is gonna be enough for you? If you've got past experience on bikes why not start out on a 250 right off the bat....... A buddy of mine taught me how to ride dirt bikes waaay back when I was only 9 or 10. Then when I turned 12 pop's gave me a '78 can-am qualifier 250 for my birthday as my first dirt bike,,,,Sheesh that thing had power and was the fastest bike amoung friends for the longest time. Only thing that sucked about "old ugly" was that it still had the dual coil over oil shocks for rear suspension. Ther definitely was a knack to jumping barbed wire fences.. |

![]() ![]() | Re: ttr I have a 7 year old that out grew his ttr 90 last year. He now rides a kx 65 in the 65cc mini class. The ttr's seem to be under powered but are a great first bike for beginners.

![]() | Re: ttr Yup Joey start with the 125 and when it gets to the point where you keep looking for that extra gear and a little more grunt....time to up grade to the 250. Happy biking and remember always wear the riding gear... ![]() |
