MCX Nytro clutching?

I run an 08 Nytro with MCX remapped to 16lbs,eboost 2,shockwave helix, baker skid, wild child relocate etc etc.oh yeah 162x16 track.
Clutching is great on the flat but was only pulling 8000 in the hills at 15 psi?
Adjusted shockwave as far as I could to get that? What is everyone running for weight with similar setup? Thanks

Re: MCX Nytro clutching?

'08 Nytro MTX MCX @14-15 psi, shockwave, me with a big smile..........
Sled was stock last year for 1100 klm (clutched for 6000 - 8000') would run @ 8100 rpm, added puffer & secondary this year now pulls @ 9100 rpm with shockwave turned all the way in but I had NO engine braking on steep downhills, on last ride I took 1 turn (out) left - rpm now 8700 & seems to have a little engine breaking......also does anyone know what rev limiter is set on these?

45 degree helix with cat green snopro set at 1/0 , 14.5 rollers blue white blue. 9250 is limiter but you will know if you hit it cause engine lean pops and af goes lean. should shoot for 8800. adjust weights as needed i have 64 grams

Re: MCX Nytro clutching?

if your 14-15psi, i would go for the arctic cat purple secondary clutch spring... the green is a little stiff.. 17-19 maybe run that or upps 16-18

Re: MCX Nytro clutching?

thanks or the help put in a set of 8bu Yammy weights with 17.2 rivets in 2 of the 3 holes, running a solid 13.3 steel in the outside.Got the purple spring in seems to work good.Pulling 8800 at 45-47 degrees on shockwave.
