2003 rx-1

i was given an 03 rx-1 from a buddy for free , and theres a hole the size of my fist on the front side of the case, is this machine worth finding a new motor or should we just part it out, any thoughts (i dont know much about this machine)

my dad had one and that was a FAST sled! pretty dang fun too! if the repair isnt to expensive go for it! if its in good condition why not?

price out a new motor i would say. i know they are a wonderful trail sled with great reliability. if a rebuild dont cost you much i would say go for it. the sled didnt cost you anything to aquire

just went through the same delema on my vector. I parted mine out. Unless you can find a cheap engine.
