08 Yamaha Venture MP - Aftermarket

I just bought a brand new 08 Yamaha Venture MP.... (Have not even riden it yet and put any KM's on it)

OK, being as new as I am to sledding this is probably a pre-mature question to ask, but my cars and trucks all have aftermarket parts and chips in them. So I am jumping the gun I know but I want to do some mods to my sled before I really even learn how to ride it.

However, I do not want to go hardcore JUST YET..... So anyone have some simple but effective mods to recommend for my sled that I can do, and then build on it down the road.......

I would learn as much about you sled as possible before you make changes. learning the sled and how it performs under different conditions will hep you learn what types of mods will help and what wont.You dont want to fix something that isnt broken yet.

True, and a good point... I just figured there might be some simple ones I could get out of the way.... Lighter exhaust, different belt or pully's or something........
